Jase is an equine vet tech and he spends his days caring for horses. He grew up in central Kentucky and was known for constantly bringing home a variety of stray animals…dogs, horses, cows, pigs, you name it. He also participated in 4H, FFA, and he showed Tennessee Walking Horses. He has shared his love of animals with our family, and currently shows our two Gypsy Vanner horses with our boys.
His favorite animal on the farm is his heart horse, Shimmer, our Gypsy Vanner mare!
Shawn is the owner and director of Launch Enrichment Preschool & Child Care Center in Spring Grove, Illinois. With over 20 years of education experience as a teacher and administrator, he is excited to help provide an educational experience to meet the specific needs of your group! While not raised on a farm (though his mother often asked if he was born in a barn) he loves hanging out in the backyard among the animals. He can often be found sneaking animal crackers to the goats and letting them into the backyard "for a change of scenary".
His favorite animals on the farm are the goats because they're always getting into trouble!
Josh is our resident animal whisperer! He can often be found helping Jase feed, water, and clean up after the animals. He also shows Shimmer in Halter, Showmanship, Trail, and Western Riding classes where he's won a variety of ribbons! Josh isn't sure what he wants to be when he grows up, but probably do something with animals.
His favorite animal on the farm is Goober the Kune Kune Pig!
Gio can usually be found with his cow (Pickles), the barn cats (Kit & Rolo), or showing Comet at local horse shows! "Farmer Gio" as he likes to be called spent his summer helping with our animal experiences. Gio's favorite farm chores include anything that allows him to drive the tractor.
His favorite animal on the farm is his miniature fuzzy cow, Pickles (which he has wanted since we started our farm!)
